 The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is dedicated to help children and their families by providing the right services and solutions based on individual needs.  CFCE is constantly evolving to better support our community.

As a Front Office Assistant, you will provide quality customer service to the children and families we serve, visitors and staff.  This position works closely with the program Administrator to ensure that the front office is meeting provider productivity standards.

 Some of the Functions Include:

  • Greet clients, staff and visitors and inquire as to the reason for the visit and advise relevant staff.
  • Ensure clients and visitors register and sign-in log.
  • Receive incoming telephone calls for the Agency and forward calls to appropriate persons or take a message.
  • Provide information and assistant to clients and customers.
  • Answer general questions from the general public and refer to appropriate program/staff when applicable.
  • Re-direct inquiries from regulatory/county agencies and/or media to the Executive Assistant and/or COO and/or CEO.
  • Receive incoming mail and route to administrative assistant and/or unit secretary.
  • Receive and/or dispatch messenger/courier items.
  • Maintain conference room schedule.
  • Create and maintain tracking logs as required.
  • Data entry in Agency required programs, including but not limited to Florida Safe Families Network, Incident Reporting and Integrated Health Systems.

Minimum Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma and/or Associate’s Degree. 
  • A minimum of six months to one year of secretarial training or work experience.
  • Must type a minimum of 35-45 wpm.
  • Maintain current working knowledge of the health care environment as it relates to program operations.
  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational, communication, skills.
