As a Secretary, you will perform clerical duties to further advance the mission of CFCE.

Some of the Functions include

  • Prepare and distribute agendas and other pertinent information.
  • Gather daily up-to-date client records of the unit’s data information and maintain a tracking log for accuracy, record keeping, compliance and continuing reconciliation, while maintaining clients record confidentiality requirements.
  • To its successful timeframe completion, follow-ups on each unit supervisor requested assignments, pending notifications and expectations.
  • Keep each Unit/Supervisor abreast of pending program managements assignments due dates; meetings; one-to-ones; unit activities; staff training, leaves and reminders of evaluations due dates, as calendared.  
  • Update each Unit with ongoing support to including but not limited to updates of units records, courts information; filing of documents; CJIS; unit meeting participation with note keeping; staff attendance; office notices; supplies; maintaining and advising supervisor/staff of each Unit ethical and client records confidentially keeping; support to new and season staff members, etc.
  • Attend meetings, take and transcribe minutes, distribute minutes, and maintain the official records.
  • Advise staff of scheduled meetings.
  • Type letters, memos, reports, etc.
  • Perform other miscellaneous clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, data entry, maintaining records, etc.
  • Compile monthly reports.

Minimum Education Required

  • High School Diploma 

Minimum Experience

  • 1 year of secretarial experience

Skills Needed

  • Type at least 35 WPM
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability of handle multiple tasks
