The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is dedicated to help children and their families by providing the right services and solutions based on individual needs.  CFCE is constantly evolving to better support our community. CFCE expanded in early 2012 to include a health care center, The Pediatric & Family Health and Wellness Center.

The Pediatric & Family Health and Wellness Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), offers an array of preventative health services including but not limited to: general and sick care for adults and children, OB/GYN, dental services, nutrition programs and mental health and substance abuse treatment for children and adults.

As a Strategic Operations Administer, you will be responsible for a variety of agency-wide and program specific duties in regards to the FQHC.

Some of the Functions Include:
  • Development and daily oversight of community outreach program, to include supervision of staff for FQHC programs
    • Plans and oversees community events and outreach activities, i.e. health fairs and other patient recruitment activities
    • Guides and supervises the work of outreach specialist, community health worker, and part time Marketplace workers
    • In conjunction with clinic staff, plans education events, and community events, i.e., Pastors’ Luncheon, various health symposiums, diabetes groups, etc.
  • Research, procurement, and oversight of specialized goods and equipment for FQHC use
  • Serves as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for developmental, disability, Limited English proficiency (LEP) and other specialized populations for the Agency (child welfare, behavioral health, etc.)
    • Arranges for interpreters, etc.
    • Submits monthly reports to SFBHN and Citrus FCN
  • Serves as Disaster/Emergency Coordinator for the agency
    • Updates plan annually through solicitation of information and guidance from management
    • Arranges/coordinates training on periodic basis during the year on disaster, including Pandemic
    • Ensures that appropriate goods, services are in place in preparation for emergencies, i.e. generators, PPE, etc.
    • Maintains ongoing relationship with Miami Dade Emergency Management, FACHC, and other disaster response entities
    • Serves as Point of Contact with all Agency Contractors for disaster management, I.e. Citrus FCN, SFBHN, Florida Network, etc.
  • Manages the provider/employee credentialing function for the Agency including Primary Care, Behavioral Health and Dental
    • Serves as a member of the Credentialing Committee
    • Supervises the Credentialing Specialist and/or credentialing services vendor/contractor
    • Collaborates with the Human Resources Department to ensure efficient functioning
  • Serves as administrator for Sliding Fee Scale Program in collaboration with CFO and Billing Manager
    • Develops and manages SFS “committee” of staff and board to review denials
    • Works with financial staff to review and update SFS policies and scales, annually, and as appropriate
  • Actively manages the insurance payer oversight function within the medical and dental clinics
    • Works closely with insurance companies, MCOs, etc., to enroll licensed providers on insurance panels
    • Works to increase CFCE’s insurance panel participation and add new insurance contracts
    • Assists new providers in enrolling in Medicaid and Medicare

Minimum Education
  • Master’s Degree in public health, public administration, psychology, social work or related discipline plus
    • Two years’ experience in the area of healthcare administration
      • OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the area of healthcare administration, psychology, social work or related behavioral science plus
    • Five years’ experience in healthcare administration
 
Minimum Experience/Skills
  • Three years Supervisory experience
  • Medical/Behavioral Health knowledge and experience required
  • Maintain current working knowledge of the health care environment as it relates to program operations.
  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational, communication, technological, management and supervisory skills.
  • Access to a well-maintained vehicle, valid auto insurance, and a current and valid Driver’s License.
