As a Dependency Case Manager Supervisor you will manage the daily operations of a dependency case management unit; supervise case management staff and support staff; coordinate service delivery to ensure that client needs and program goals are being met

Some of the Functions Include:
- Direct supervision of case management staff and support staff for dependency cases assigned to unit.
- Conduct regular individual and group staff meetings and case consultations.
- Assign cases to case management staff and oversee service delivery; ensure proper client to staff ratio.
- Collect, analyze, and report unit data on a monthly basis or as requested. Conduct monthly supervisor reviews on assigned cases.
- Provide training to new staff at the time of employment and on-going training for existing staff.
- Provide support with crisis or problematic cases; provide ongoing assistance in coordinating services for clients.
- Ensure that all documentation and reports are completed accurately in a timely manner.
- Review all court documents prior to submission for court.
- Provide direct case management in the absence of staff.
- Review and approve home studies, child studies, status reports, visitation report summaries, etc.
- Prepare staff performance evaluations.
- Provide on-call support for clients as required or needed.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a human or non-human services related field
- Possess a state of Florida Child Welfare Case Manager Certification
Minimum Experience
- Four years of relevant experience working with children and families in the Child Welfare System (Two years of experience with a Masters’ degree)
- Supervisory Experience
Skills Needed
- Ability to balance competing priorities and make independent judgments and decisions.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, including presentation skills
