The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is dedicated to helping children and their families by providing the right services and solutions based on individual needs. CFCE is constantly evolving to better support our community.

As an IT Support Technician, you will support the maintenance of computer systems for the Center for Family and Child Enrichment.  This position has primary responsibility for: supporting the Windows operating system and related applications, on-going daily support, maintenance and installation of hardware and software, and other activities related to the operations of the Information Technology department. 

This position is under the direction of CFCE’s IT Manager and P/T 20-30 hours weekly.

Some of the Functions Include:
  • Effectively contribute to the IT strategy by providing assessment of hardware/software, systems, and process options.
  • Provide software application training.
  • Maintain asset management including hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Must have the ability to setup and install computers, peripheral devices, components, and software applications.
  • Diagnose and repair, or coordinate repairs, of malfunctioning computer equipment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to apply acquired knowledge to identify and solve day-to-day problems related to the information system operation.
  • Assist and support personnel on the use of hardware, operating systems, and software.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with the diverse group of system users.
Minimum Education/Experience:
  • The candidate should have an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, or related field, with relevant experience in the support of computer systems, applications, networks, or any equivalent combination of experience and training. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Exchange Server, and Windows Server is essential.  A high degree of skill in hardware installation and maintenance is required.
  • MCSA or MCSE certification is a plus but not required.
