The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is dedicated to help children and their families by providing the right services and solutions based on individual needs. CFCE is constantly evolving to better support our community.
As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) will support the delivery of CFCEs Behavioral health services by assisting licensed health providers in providing patient-centered care. The BHT works directly with patients to support treatment plans, facilitate care coordination, monitor patient progress, and promote engagement in behavioral health services within an integrated primary care setting.

Some of the Functions Include:
Support patients during behavioral health visits, screenings, and interventions
Conduct and document behavioral health screenings and assessments as directed
Monitor patient behavior, mood, and progress, and report observations to the care team
Provide patient education and support related to coping skills, treatment adherence, and wellness strategies
Facilitate group activities, skill-building sessions, or psychoeducation groups as assigned
Assist with care coordination, referrals, and follow-up appointments
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Ensure patient safety and follow trauma-informed and culturally responsive care practices
Minimum Education/Experience
High school diploma and 3-5 years work experience.
Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, or social services
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Skills Needed
Knowledgeable of community counseling and community resources
Ability to compile data, complete reports and maintain appropriate documentation
Ability to learn or has skills in imputing NETMIS information, Microsoft Word/Excel/Power Point;
Ability to work with employees at all levels and other agency/organizations
Positive attitude
Ability to provide advocacy, linkage, and network services for and on behalf of clients and their families
Consistent and accurate documentation and appropriate billing
Bilingual a plus
